When Life Continues Without Me ...

I often discuss my efforts to maximize "my dash" (between my birthdate and death date), however I'd like to delve into something extremely sensitive and often avoided .... When tomorrow starts without me, you may have an abundance of questions but know that God makes no mistakes. Although I pray that I have a lot of life left in me, there are certain details I want to be clear on...
When life continues without me please try not to cry... I know I'm going to heaven so rest assured about my salvation .

•Don't come to my funeral wearing black . I want all white with yellow, pink, or bright colors of some sort to accent.

•I will be cremated so you all aren't constantly remembering me from your visualization in the casket. There's just something about people walking and staring at my lifeless body that makes me uncomfortable. Have several pictures of me on display! Make sure I look cute in all of them ;).

Please be on time to my home going celebration, you know I am a stickler for time. I'd prefer my celebration to begin with the number 7 in there. I know 7 am is early so perhaps promptly at 10:07am.

• If my family allows remarks and they request under two minutes. Please honor the two minute time frame.

•Remember all of our memories, all of the laughs .. Tell jokes. Reminisce on the times we had together.

•Most importantly, allow this to be a time where you are able to realize that life is extremely short and our time is limited. Release grudges, forgive, but please make sure your life is in order before you expire. It has been said that the graveyard is the richest place in the world because many gifts and thoughts were never tapped into. Don't let that be you! Be all you can be and live your life to the fullest! "Aspire to inspire before you expire".

•Don't neglect to let people know you love them and how you feel about them.

Make sure my family is taken care of.

When tomorrow starts without me and I am not there to encourage you, reflect on our past conversations and remember  "tough times don't last, tough people do". Tap into your inner strength, set goals, live your life!

They say the motto is "YOLO"...You only live once, but you only die once also!

I'll be ready. Will you?
BE PREPARED!
